Mediterranean Food Expert, Amy Riolo, Visits MC Books & More




Renate Laine and Marcus Rosano College News & Information Amy Riolo, author, food historian, culinary consultant and instructor for restaurants, and an expert in Mediterranean cuisine, celebrated Arab American Heritage Month at the Rockville Campus MC Books & More. Riolo, who has lived and worked in Egypt, delivered a presentation that highlighted some of the rich history of food that originated in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries. She also discussed her two books, "Nile Style" and Arabian Nights", before putting down the microphone and picking up the kitchen utensils for a cooking demonstration.
